Their journey to this unforgettable celebration began back in 2016, thanks to a little mobile app magic (shoutout to Plenty of Fish!). Fast-forward to 2024, and these two had a vision that blended timeless romance with quirky, personal touches—and boy, did they deliver!

A Proposal with a View

Domenick’s proposal was straight out of a rom-com. With the help of his family, Ariana was led to believe they were planning a surprise 30th birthday party for him. The “party prep” included a scenic stop at a fort overlooking the Verrazzano Bridge. As the sun set, Domenick’s friend emerged to capture the moment, and there, with the perfect backdrop, Domenick popped the question.

Their love story is a testament to their fun and quirky dynamic, a relationship built on loyalty, humor, and shared dreams. For their wedding day, they wanted to highlight their comfortability, sense of humor, and romantic side that makes their connection so special.

A Vision of Old Hollywood Romance

When it came to their wedding theme, Domenick and Ariana drew inspiration from vintage elegance—think Audrey Hepburn vibes with an autumn twist. Ariana wore a breathtaking 1950s-inspired gown with timeless blush and neutral florals complementing the season. Domenick and his groomsmen kept it classic in blue and black tuxedos, bringing sophistication to the day.

The couple’s Spanish heritage was honored with a traditional wedding ceremony, blending meaningful cultural elements into their modern love story.

As their Photographer, one of my favorite moments was their grand entrance to the reception. Rising through the ballroom floor in The Grand’s hidden elevator was a show-stopping moment that had everyone cheering. The energy in the room was electric, and you could feel the joy radiating from the newlyweds.

Domenick and Ariana’s wedding wasn’t just about stunning visuals (though we had plenty of those!); it was about creating a space where their family and friends could feel the depth of their love and share in their journey. They wanted their photos to reflect happiness, sentimentality, and their unique story—and we did just that.
