Berrak & Berkan
There’s something timeless about Central Park—an energy that feels both cinematic and intimate at the same time. For Berrak and Berkan’s engagement session, it became the perfect backdrop to reflect their connection: effortless, genuine, and full of quiet moments in between.
We began the session walking through some of the park’s most iconic paths, allowing the rhythm of the city to fade into the background. What stood out immediately was how naturally they moved together. No pressure, no over-posing—just the two of them, present and enjoying the experience.
At Bethesda Terrace, the architecture added a sense of depth and elegance to their portraits. The soft light filtering through the arches created a beautiful balance of shadow and glow, framing them in a way that felt almost cinematic. From there, we made our way toward Bow Bridge, where the skyline subtly peeked through, reminding us that we were still in the heart of New York City.
As the session unfolded, we leaned into movement—walking, laughing, pausing for those in-between moments that often become the most meaningful images. This is where the story truly lives. Not in perfection, but in connection.
Golden hour gave us the final layer. That warm, diffused light wrapped around them, softening everything and bringing a natural glow to each frame. It’s always a reminder that the best images aren’t forced—they happen when everything aligns: the light, the setting, and most importantly, the people in front of the camera.
Berrak and Berkan’s session is a reflection of what engagement photography should feel like—relaxed, intentional, and centered around your story.
If you’re considering an engagement session in Central Park or anywhere that feels meaningful to you, the goal is simple: create space for you to be yourselves. The rest, we’ll guide you through.
