The Grove Wedding in Cedar Grove NJ | Nia & Dan
The Grove Cedar Grove NJ wedding for Nia and Dan was an elegant celebration that beautifully blended family traditions, culture, and unforgettable moments. From their engagement session in New York City to their joyful reception in New Jersey, every part of their wedding day reflected the couple’s vision for a meaningful and vibrant celebration.
Our journey with Nia and Dan began months before the wedding with their engagement session in Central Park, New York. It was a beautiful fall afternoon filled with rich seasonal colors and soft light, allowing us to capture natural portraits that reflected their connection and excitement for the wedding ahead.
Wedding Preparations at The Grove
The wedding day began at The Grove in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, where the couple prepared for their celebration. The bridal suite at the venue provides a spacious and elegant setting for wedding preparations, and it never disappoints when it comes to capturing the excitement of the morning.
As hair and makeup were completed, we photographed the details and personal touches that Nia had thoughtfully incorporated into the day. The bridesmaids wore elegant black dresses that complemented the groomsmen’s classic tuxedos, creating a timeless and refined look for the wedding party.
Nearby, Dan and his groomsmen prepared for the day with a mix of excitement and anticipation. Before leaving for the ceremony, Nia and Dan shared a private first look on the grand staircase at The Grove. This moment allowed them to spend time together before the ceremony while also giving us the opportunity to capture portraits with their families and bridal party.
Ceremony at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian
The ceremony took place at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian, where family and friends gathered to witness Nia and Dan exchange their vows. After the ceremony, we captured portraits outside the church before returning to the reception venue.
Greek weddings are always filled with vibrant traditions and meaningful rituals. From the symbolic blessings to the lively dances and celebratory customs on the dance floor, each moment reflects the heritage and joy shared by the couple’s families.
Reception Celebration at The Grove
Back at the reception venue, the ballroom at The Grove in Cedar Grove was beautifully decorated with white florals and elegant gold and ivory details. The design created a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere for the evening’s celebration.
The energy in the room grew as the band began playing and the dance floor filled with guests celebrating alongside Nia and Dan. Their first dance and the traditional Greek dancing brought an incredible level of energy and excitement to the evening.
With more than 200 guests in attendance, the celebration truly reflected the importance of family and friendship in the couple’s lives. Every part of the evening—from heartfelt speeches to joyful dancing—created unforgettable memories for everyone present.
Nia and Dan’s wedding day was a perfect example of how thoughtful planning, meaningful traditions, and a beautiful venue can come together to create a celebration filled with love and joy.
