Lore & Anthony’s Engagement at Skylands Manor & the New Jersey Botanical Garden
Lore and Anthony’s Skylands Manor engagement was everything a garden session should be — romantic, relaxed, and set against one of the most beautiful backdrops in New Jersey. Tucked inside Ringwood State Park, the New Jersey Botanical Garden and its Tudor-style manor gave us storybook scenery at every turn: stone archways, tree-lined walkways, formal gardens, and quiet corners made for two people in love.
Why Skylands Manor & the New Jersey Botanical Garden
Skylands Manor in Ringwood, NJ is one of our favorite places for engagement photos. The estate blends grand architecture with acres of manicured gardens, so a single session can move from elegant, classic portraits beside the manor to soft, natural moments among the flowers and greenery. The New Jersey Botanical Garden also changes with the seasons — blooms in spring and summer, warm color in the fall, clean structure in the quieter months — so every couple’s gallery feels a little different.
For Lore and Anthony, the location gave the session room to breathe. Instead of rushing from pose to pose, we let them walk, talk, and simply be together — and that’s where the best frames happened.
